May 31st Fishing Report

Partly sunny, with a high near 80. Breezy, with a light southwest wind increasing to 12 to 17 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 32 mph.
Creeks are clear and still a bit low.  The warmer weather goes away after today giving us some great conditions the coming week.
We're still seeing bug soup with hatches of caddis, craneflies, sulphurs, other lighter colored mayflies, and even some yellow sallies.  The typical plan of attach is to fish a beetle or foam ant with a dropper early, then switch to dries and emergers when we see fish rising.  Just remember to cast ants near any overhanging branch or vegetation.  We are seeing lots of flying ants around the area right now!
For streamer junkies, fish are responding well to white and brown right now as the clear water and sunnier skies have turned them off black temporarily.  We have also had some clients getting aggressive strikes on mice!
