June 8th Fishing Report

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 11am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 11am and 2pm. High near 70. Calm wind becoming northwest 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.
A good soaking shower hit the area this morning and has pretty much all of the creeks murky to muddy.  This is not going to last too long, but do not expect much until later this afternoon.  Even then do not expect much crystal clear water, it will be stained most of the day today.
Under these conditions, fishing leeches, squirmy wormies, larger scuds and nymphs will be effective.
The rains have pretty much passed over us heading east so things will begin to clear starting mid day.
