June 21st Fishing ReportA 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 3pm and 5pm. Mostly sunny, with a high near 93. Heat index values as high as 101. Southwest wind 7 to 14 mph. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Very hot and humid again today. The second day in a row of hot temperatures has the creeks unseasonably warm. While there are decent water temperatures to be found, it is probably a good idea to sit today out. Either that or fish 5-9 in the morning and evening making sure you use your thermometer. Anything over 65 will be poor fishing.
Keep your fingers crossed that the rains hit as that will instantly cool things down.
The good news, is that we are looking at more stable temperatures the rest of the week and back to a bit cooler over the weekend and into next week!
